OOTD: The Birds Part II - Topshop, H&M, Aliexpress

Here's a quick OOTD featuring some things I got for Christmas, one of which is this unusual jumper from the wholesale website Aliexpress. It was only £10 but it's very unusual so I really like this piece! 

I always wear a lot of jewellery and my new favourite combination is the coin necklace, also from Aliexpress, stacked with this eagle necklace from H&M - another Christmas gift from my mum.

My best friend and I literally have no willpower and opened our presents on the 14th of December, her presents are always amazing and I was a shrieking mess throughout the ordeal. We also bought each other tattoos as an even earlier Christmas present which was very exciting.

Her mum bought me a Topshop gift card which I used to buy this leather jacket because I had been obsessing over it for weeks, part of my thing for white clothing at the moment. My lips is a rather questionable grey colour which I am undecided about, courtesy of Lime Crime Chinchilla.

Is it just me or does it feel like the Christmas and New Year excitement has died very suddenly? Now I'm back in college and there's talk of exam revision which I am so not emotionally prepared for. I just want to put on my fleeced, cuffed pyjamas and get back in bed!

New camera and autumn favourites / inspiration

There is something about dark Autumn nights that just makes you feel so excited for the things that are yet to come. I went out for an evening walk with the dog and took this photo on a nearby bridge, the motion photo feature on my new camera is probably my favourite thing about it and so forgive me if I tend to over-use it in upcoming posts.

In terms of music I have been loving Royal Blood's album and also Radiohead - 'All I need' is one of my all time favourite songs. After Charlotte bought a vinyl player, I realised that I never really appreciate an album as a whole as I'm always flicking between artists. This has really got me wanting a vinyl player for when you want to pass time just listening to music and relaxing.

After getting my first ever tattoo, I am already hooked and planning a more intricate piece. I found Sasha Tattooing on Pinterest and fell in love with her work, currently considering something like this with wings but the placement would be around the rib area.

I recently said goodbye to the top stud of my triple - now double forward helix piercing after losing it at a concert. I saw a picture of this tongue web piercing on Tumblr and thought, well it wouldn't be the craziest thing I've ever done *looks at wrist dermals and sighs* and its supposed to be pretty painless so..... I don't know this could be on the cards, let me know what you think.

I am so unbelievably obsessed with this tee shirt from Burtons! It fits really well despite being menswear and I love the design especially as I have an interest in tattoos and piercings. Currently I have standard lobe piercings, a cartelidge stud, an industrial bar and dermal wrist studs. (I used to have my nose pierced but it made foundation application difficult and was generally annoying.)

It's still absolutely freezing here in Manchester but at least that gives me an excuse to keep wearing this faux-fur lined coat from River Island! I decided to go with an all black outfit today which is not unusual for me and I accessorized with this huge statement necklace I got from Miss Selfridge.
