FOTD and OOTD: Motley Crue - Urban Outfitters, Topshop, Primark with Makeup Geek Vegas Lights Pigment

Top: Urban Outfitters, Jeans: Topshop, Cardigan: Primark, Boots: Primark, Necklace: Lyla Loves, Bag: Primark, Beanie Boohoo, Teddy coat: Topshop

Hey everyone!
Here is a wintery sort of OOTD featuring this Motley Crue tee shirt which I bought in the Urban Outfitters black Friday sale and have become obsessed with. This top is also featured in the Grunge date night outfits video on my Youtube channel so feel free to check it out.

I have to talk about this pigment though, lord above. Makeup Geek Vegas lights was beamed down by celestial alien gods. Yes its hella messy because it has no sifter but it is the perfect glittery copper shade that looks stunning on blue or green or any eyes to be honest. This is one of my favourite pigments at the moment so, buy it.

I layered this fluffy, speckled cardigan over it which is from Primark. This cardigan is amazing because not only is it super soft, it also has huge pockets which provide a cosy little pouch for my iphone. I think I have a problem with having to hold my phone constantly or at least being able to see it, does anyone else find it comforting to have that smooth screen within reach at all times of the day?

Primark also turned out the grey croc shoulder bag and these knee high boots which were reduced to £15 and provide the perfect amount of height for day time. I originally wanted a pair of over the knee boots but I felt I looked too much like this:

Whatever happened to Bratz dolls anyway? Did barbie sue them? Why did they not have a nose? So many important questions...

OOTD: Ripped boyfriend jeans and yet another statement necklace...

Tee shirt: Topshop, Jeans: Primark, Boots: Topshop, Necklace: Topshop, Bag: Vintage

I always have trouble finding jeans that fit my incredibly short legs, unless I want to pay £40 in Topshop... The good thing about these jeans is I can hack off the ends with a pair of nail scissors and it looks like they were meant to be that way! Always a bonus for those who are completely incompetent at DIY fashion...

After posting this outfit, I realised that all except for the bag and jeans are actually from Topshop... hmm I guess the staff discount did come in handy after all. To be fair, they are mostly sale items. The necklace is my most recent purchase and yes, I do not need another necklace, this blog alone is evidence enough of that, however, I was looking for a longer necklace as most of mine are collar styles. I really like the crystal boho details on it and it goes really well over printed tee shirts too.

My lipstick is Mac feel my pulse from the temperature rising collection, It's a cremesheen but leaves a lovely stain on the lips which prolongs the wear. I've been obsessed with purple lipstick lately, have you seen NARS Dominique audacious lipstick? *sighs*

I'm already so excited for Christmas and I am currently compiling my list which is hindered by my mum's resentment of my makeup hoarding... It seems to be coming around really fast this year because I've been so busy lately! I went to the Circa Waves gig in Manchester last Friday night which was amazing, you can watch the vlog here :)

Let me know what's on your Xmas list this year <3

So... I'm on Youtube!

Me and my best friend Charlotte recently went to watch the 1975 gig in Manchester which is as any fan will know, the boys' home town. We decided to film an outfit video and pre-concert vlog with a little footage from the actual concert, well to be honest the bits that we weren't hysterically screaming over!
I would really appreciate it if you could check out our channel and show your support by subscribing or liking as we have a lot more to come!

OOTD: Extra Terrestrial Arctic Monkeys

Overdressed as always, I headed out for a trip to Llandudno pier with my family. Assuming it was going to be breezy by the sea, I opted for this white biker coat from Primark with my blue Topshop Jamie jeans as they are the softest pair I own, making them perfect for long and uncomfortable car journeys.
I chose my Topshop ankle boots as they are sturdy enough for walking around in and relatively comfortable too.

Being pretty much obsessed with the Arctic Monkeys I decided to wear my band tee as I have rediscovered them since learning to play the guitar. I layered my ID collar and my Zara necklace to create a large statement piece because I am really into wearing an overload of jewellery at the moment!

My accessories are probably my favourite part of this look and this E.T clutch has a starring role, despite being described as 'hideous' by my mother. I got this from H&M for £2 the other day so it was definitely a bargain and I can't seem to put it down...

I bought the skull biker ring from a shop on the pier along with a couple of others and I love the way it looks with my Casio watch and arm dermals. A red lip always seems to be my go to makeup look when I wear my hair in a topknot and so I blew the dust off my MAC Marylin Monroe collection lipstick in 'Charmed I'm sure.'

I hope your all having a great summer!

York OOTD: Alexander Wang dupe and Topshop Joni jeans

Here's what I wore to explore the city of York on my recent mini holiday. As you can see I chose a vivid and uplifting colour palette of black, grey and more black...

My tee shirt is from Burtons menswear, I like how it references tattoos as I spend far too much time in my local tattoo shop either getting pierced or fixing messed up piercings along with my best friend Charlotte.

I love to wear this tee shirt with a statement necklace, which I have a lot of. I saw this one in Zara and fell in love with all the chains and spikes but I couldn't justify paying that much, so when I saw the exact same necklace on Ali Express for £6 with free shipping, I ordered it straight away! It even came in the Zara packaging, is that dodgy? yes. Could you question the legalities? Probably. But hey, I got a good deal.

I wore my grey, acid-wash Topshop Joni jeans because they're super comfy and feel more like jeggings than jeans. I hate it when you have a long car journey and your jeans wrinkle up at the back of your knee, is that not the most annoying thing ever?

It was pretty cold in York so I threw on my Topshop leather jacket and also my Topshop Aphrodite boots as they are the most comfortable for walking around all day. My Alexander Wang dupe bag is from eBay and I find it to be the perfect size for staying over at a friends or short trips away, as it holds a lot of stuff but still enhances an outfit.

So that's what I wore to go sightseeing in York, hope you enjoyed this post and please excuse the headphones, mirror photos and crying Kim K phone case! My family are usually extremely unorganized and so they were very concerned about missing Breakfast at the hotel...

OOTD: Tattoo Lou's

Coat - River Island
Tee shirt - Burton's menswear London
Leather look leggings - Topshop
Necklace - Miss Selfridge
Boots - Monki
Nails - Essie Master Plan

I am so unbelievably obsessed with this tee shirt from Burtons! It fits really well despite being menswear and I love the design especially as I have an interest in tattoos and piercings. Currently I have standard lobe piercings, a cartelidge stud, an industrial bar and dermal wrist studs. (I used to have my nose pierced but it made foundation application difficult and was generally annoying.)
It's still absolutely freezing here in Manchester but at least that gives me an excuse to keep wearing this faux-fur lined coat from River Island! I decided to go with an all black outfit today which is not unusual for me and I accessorized with this huge statement necklace I got from Miss Selfridge.

New hair!

It's been ages since I got my hair cut as I had been growing it as long as I could. However it was in really bad condition after I ombred it and it was so annoying not being able to just put it up when I felt like it. I wanted a change and so I asked for it to be cut just past shoulder length with a lot of layers for movement. I'm really happy with how it turned out and I feel like it's a lot more sophisticated.

For my makeup I paired a simple cat eye with MAC rebel lipstick which I haven't worn in ages.

Eye:
Liner - Maybelline studio gel eyeliner softened with MAC carbon eyeshadow
Lid - Urban decay W.O.S
Crease - Mac kid eyeshadow

Lips - MAC rebel

OOTD
Cut out shoulder shirt - Forever 21
Guns and roses body - Republic
Leggings - Primark
Wedge boots - H&M

OOTD: Palm Print

So the weather is the nicest it has been in a while and so i decided to take advantage and pull out the Topshop crop top and palm print jeans that just make me feel as though summer is starting - Despite the fact they resemble marajuana... a lot. Here is todays outfit, sorry about the serious face I was just probably thinking about how much pain I was going to be in after walking a mile in these shoes!

Crop top             -  Topshop
Palm print jeans  -  Motel rocks
Wedges              -  H&M
Watch                 - Casio

I was having a very un-photogenic day so here is my EOTD:

Base         - Maybelline 24h colour tattoo in on and on bronze
Lid           - No7 wheatsheaf stay perfect eyeshadow
Crease     - Mac kid eye shadow and urban decay naked 2
Mascara  - Revlon grow luscious blackened brown

I used a sheer black shadow to create a soft smokey wing and a cat eye effect that adds a subtle bit of drama to my go to gold/bronze smokey eye look. Also I am really loving this mascara at the moment!
