OOTD: Extra Terrestrial Arctic Monkeys

Overdressed as always, I headed out for a trip to Llandudno pier with my family. Assuming it was going to be breezy by the sea, I opted for this white biker coat from Primark with my blue Topshop Jamie jeans as they are the softest pair I own, making them perfect for long and uncomfortable car journeys.
I chose my Topshop ankle boots as they are sturdy enough for walking around in and relatively comfortable too.

Being pretty much obsessed with the Arctic Monkeys I decided to wear my band tee as I have rediscovered them since learning to play the guitar. I layered my ID collar and my Zara necklace to create a large statement piece because I am really into wearing an overload of jewellery at the moment!

My accessories are probably my favourite part of this look and this E.T clutch has a starring role, despite being described as 'hideous' by my mother. I got this from H&M for £2 the other day so it was definitely a bargain and I can't seem to put it down...

I bought the skull biker ring from a shop on the pier along with a couple of others and I love the way it looks with my Casio watch and arm dermals. A red lip always seems to be my go to makeup look when I wear my hair in a topknot and so I blew the dust off my MAC Marylin Monroe collection lipstick in 'Charmed I'm sure.'

I hope your all having a great summer!

Do I really need more black boots?

The honest answer to that question is no, however I could pass on the chance to get these amazing chunky ankle boots in the Topshop sale at only £15! They were reduced from £75 so it just goes to show that the January sales get better with time.
The boots have a chunky Gothic feel to them and feature cut-out detail on the sides. They remind me of Acne boots (a girl can dream) and I will definitely be wearing these throughout Spring as while I do love my Topshop Aphrodite boots, they are a pain to get on whereas these boots come with a convenient zip.
Grab those last bargains people!

OOTD: Tattoo Lou's

Coat - River Island
Tee shirt - Burton's menswear London
Leather look leggings - Topshop
Necklace - Miss Selfridge
Boots - Monki
Nails - Essie Master Plan

I am so unbelievably obsessed with this tee shirt from Burtons! It fits really well despite being menswear and I love the design especially as I have an interest in tattoos and piercings. Currently I have standard lobe piercings, a cartelidge stud, an industrial bar and dermal wrist studs. (I used to have my nose pierced but it made foundation application difficult and was generally annoying.)
It's still absolutely freezing here in Manchester but at least that gives me an excuse to keep wearing this faux-fur lined coat from River Island! I decided to go with an all black outfit today which is not unusual for me and I accessorized with this huge statement necklace I got from Miss Selfridge.

Shoe love

I thought I'd share with you my four fiercest pairs of shoes which also happen to be my favourites.

First are a pair of Jeffrey Campbell spiked lita dupes that I picked up from a little shop in the Arnedale for £30 which is a fraction of the £80 to £150 price tag for the originals!

The next pair of shoes is my topshop Aphrodite cut out lace up boots, these are so comfy and the silver hardware detailing is really eye catching. I also love that the heel is cut out so you can show off your socks!

The third pair of shoes are these wedge buckle up sandals from office that I bought off eBay for £10 I love these as they look insane and you can adjust them to fit perfectly

Finally these are my H&M wedges I have had for about a year now and they were my first pair of high shoes that my mother questioned my ability to walk in but they are actually really comfy and I find I can walk and dance in them for hours without any pain. However the same cant be said for those Lita dupes! Ah well they say pain is beauty.
