Guitar Browsing OOTD

Jeans: Topshop, Top: Vintage, Jacket: River Island, Boots: New look, Sunglasses: New look, Necklace: Topshop

As the boredom phase of the summer holidays commences, you begin to find yourself taking every oppourtunity that you can find to get out of the house.  For this reason I decided to go with my Dad to the proffesional music technology shop to buy a new amp lead, thrilling times.

However the range of guitars was amazing, I started teaching myself to play the electric guitar in March and whilst I am pleased with my progress, I was way too intimidated to have a go on any of the models in the shop, especially as the resident metal-heads were performing hardcore rock solos the entire time.

I wore my Topshop coated jeans with this Harley Davidson tank top I bought off Depop. It will be a remarkable day when I decide to forgo some sort of leather jacket, on this occasion I went with my cropped River Island one. To switch it up a bit I decided to accessorize with a gold collar necklace to match the metal trims on these new look ankle boots.

Hope you're finding fun ways to pass the summer!

*By the way how gorgeous is that guitar...

ALL SAINTS OUTLET AND CCO MINI HAUL

With the promise of an All saints outlet and a CCO, we decided to make the journey to Cheshire Oaks and despite nearly an hour in the car and getting lost it was definitely worth the trek!
In all saints I found the silk biker vest I'd been wanting for as long as I can remember for £10 with only a minor defect and an additional 30% discount off the marked price! It was an opportunity I couldn't pass up and as I hunted through the rails I came across this gorgeous hand embellished top reduced to £10 from £195! I was shocked at what a good deal I got and couldn't believe I got £230 worth of clothes for just £17.

From CCO I got two MAC lipsticks from the temperature rising collection. I have an upcoming blog post on these lipsticks so stay tuned!

Unchained melody

Ghost is undeniably one of the best 90's films, so when Charlotte from http://lolitavapour.blogspot.co.uk told me that the cinema in the Printworks were screening it at night I knew we had to go. I made sure to wear waterproof mascara and it's a good job I did as I cried at three points during the film! Is it just me or does the music just set everyone off? Especially at the end where Patrick Swayze's soul is freed and the (now very dated) CGI purple mist is shining down and unchained melody starts playing. I was truly a hot mess. There was the usual number of... odd characters on the Met but we had a really good night, there's nothing quite like Galaxy minstrels at the cinema.

Sorry about the rushed outfit picture, I wore my Topshop crop top with high waisted black leggings and my new Topshop textured biker jacket. On my feet i wore my favourite Topshop Aphrodite lace up cut out boots to fit in with the biker theme. I didn't feel like jewellery so I just wore my silver Casio watch.
